Strategy: What Students Should Do
-
Cover Full Syllabus Thoroughly
Don’t skip any topic, even if it's traditionally “weak” or “difficult.” Since all questions are compulsory, weak areas can cost marks. -
Strengthen Numerical & Problem-Solving Skills
Section B’s numerical questions often require strong analytical thinking. Practice lots of numerical problems from every chapter. -
Practice with Previous Papers & Mocks in Full Format
Simulate the actual exam without skipping any questions. Time yourself. Get used to handling difficulty across all sections. -
Focus on Accuracy, Not Guesswork
Wrong answers bring negative marking; better to attempt carefully rather than guess wildly. -
Time Management
Since there’s no choice now, allocate time well per section. Identify parts of the syllabus which take more time and practise them. -
Review & Revise Regularly
Revisit weaker chapters frequently. Do small topic-wise revision. Make short notes or formula sheets.
